About
Building Jharkhand's power infrastructure since 1988
Ranisons is a Ranchi-based electrical and civil contractor and manpower services provider, working across the state from 415 V distribution up to 220 kV transmission.
Ranisons was established in Ranchi in 1988 by Ravindra Kumar Sinha, who continues to run the firm as proprietor. What began as an electrical contracting business has grown into two divisions serving quite different buyers: turnkey electrical and civil EPC, and outsourced technical manpower.
The work spans the full spectrum of electrical engineering — from illuminating industrial premises to erecting 33/11 kV substations, from stringing rural distribution networks to staffing extra-high-voltage grid substations on continuous shift. We have executed at every voltage level from 415 V up to 220 kV.
Being registered for civil construction as well as electrical work changes what we can take on. Substation packages arrive complete: control-room building, foundations, yard, equipment and commissioning under one contract, with no interface to manage between trades. The same is true of our building work, which is handed over with its services live.
We are registered with the statutory authorities of the Government of Jharkhand and hold a current electrical contractor’s licence. Our compliance, registrations and completion certificates arepublished for anyone to check — because in this trade, a claim you cannot verify is worth very little.
