Privacy
What we collect, and what we do not
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts. The only personal information it handles is what you type into the enquiry form.
No tracking of any kind
There are no cookies on this website. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no embedded widgets, no fonts or scripts loaded from anyone else’s servers. Nothing follows you between pages, and nothing follows you off the site. Reading these pages leaves nothing behind on your device.
Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address in order to serve the page to you and to block attacks. That is unavoidable for any website; it is how the internet works.
The enquiry form
If you fill in the enquiry form — on the contact, quote or careers pages — we collect exactly this and nothing more:
- Your name
- So we know who we are replying to.
- Organisation
- Optional. Helps us route a tender enquiry to the right person.
- Phone number and email address
- So we can reply. At least one is required.
- The service you selected
- Optional. Tells us which part of the business to involve.
- Whatever you write in the details box
- The enquiry itself.
- Your IP address
- Recorded on the message when it reaches us. It is a by-product of the request, used only to identify abuse of the form.
We use it to answer your enquiry. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or rent it.
Who else sees it
The form submits to our own website rather than to a third-party form service, so the enquiry is not routed through anyone else’s platform. It reaches us as an email or a message in our own systems. The only companies involved are our website host (Cloudflare) and, where used, the service that carries the email to our inbox.
We may share the contents of an enquiry with a client or authority where that is the point of the enquiry — for example, naming you on a site access request. We will not share it for any other reason unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Not indefinitely. Each kind of enquiry has a period, after which it is deleted:
- An enquiry that does not lead to work12 months
- Long enough to cover a tender cycle and a follow-up, then deleted.
- An enquiry that becomes a contract8 years after completion
- It stops being an enquiry and becomes part of the contract file, which we must keep for tax and statutory records.
- A job application12 months
- So we can consider you for a later deployment. Tell us and we will remove it sooner.
You do not have to wait for those periods to run. Ask us at any time and we will delete your enquiry, unless we are required to keep it for a contract or tax record.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what personal data of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw the consent you gave when you submitted the form. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: send one line to the address below and we will delete the enquiry.
We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Who to contact about your data
Ranisons is a proprietorship, so the person answerable for how your information is handled is the proprietor himself:
Ravindra Kumar Sinha
Proprietor · Grievance contact
M/S RanisonsE-8, Kusai Colony, Doranda, Ranchi, Jharkhand 834002
Please put “Data request” in the subject line so it is not mistaken for an ordinary enquiry.
About the recruitment side
If you contact us looking for work, what you send is used to consider you for deployment and for nothing else. We never ask a candidate for payment, at any stage, for any reason. Anyone requesting money in our name is not acting for us — please tell us if that happens.
