Ranisons was awarded the complete electrical package for the 33/11 kV power substation serving Jharkhand Mega Food Park’s processing block and cold-storage facilities at Getalsud, Ranchi.

The scope covered supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the substation, executed under the supervision of the Jharkhand State Electricity Board. A companion contract covered the substation’s civil works — control-room building, equipment foundations and yard — at a further ₹90 lakh.

The same client subsequently awarded us the incoming 33 kV line from P/S/S Sikidri, street lighting for the campus, a 1×1000 kVA distribution substation for a new cold store at Lohardaga, and the warehouse and dormitory buildings — bringing the total value of work executed for Jharkhand Mega Food Park to over ₹18 crore.

Built and charged

  1. Civil

    Yard levelled, equipment foundations, transformer bund, cable trenches and the control room building.

  2. Erection

    Gantries and bus structures erected, transformers landed on their plinths and coupled up.

  3. Equipment

    Isolators, breakers, CTs and lightning arresters installed bay by bay, then bussed together.

  4. Commissioning

    Protection set and coordinated, insulation tested, and the yard charged under utility supervision.
